Allow URL Field to be displayed as an inline iFrame

+1 vote

This is an extention to the feature request: Open and browse to a URL or UNC contained in the data, except that dbFront would instead display the contents of the URL in an iFrame directly embedded into the form.

This would make it very easy to integrate other network resources or systems into the current application.

Thank you for the request.

This iFrame Field suggestion will require a number of UI changes to dbFront, both for the Admin side and the Client side.

The iFrame dimensions and positioning will require some unique consideration. The CSS could be used for the fine-grain layout, with the choice of the container [FormTop, FormBottom, Inline, SideBarHelp] determining the primary layout.

NOTE: Please vote on this Feature Request if it interests you.
