How to format float fields in grid view?

Question

Is there any way to format a float field in grid view? Values are showing up with a ton of zeros, i.e.:

1.1000000000000000000000000000000

though it's fine in the form view (1.1) without any customization.

Do you have a format setup on the field?  You could specify a format of 0.00 to get two decimal places.   See: https://dbfront.com/fieldprefs

Ok - that works well enough. Thanks. FYI - I specified 0.00000 as the format, and the grid view respected it (i.e. 1.1000), but the form still displayed without 0s (1.1).
