Auto select newly created row in table grid

Question

When creating a new row, select/highlight the new row in the table grid.

With a layout of "Table Over Tabs" the details of the parent entry are hidden from view by selecting a tab for a related db table.
The grid doesn't automatically select the new row so referring back to the just-inserted values isn't simple - user has to click back and forth between parent tab and child tab.
