HowTo debug IIS FastFail errors

The following is a list of methods and tools to debug what might be causing IIS to fall over.

IIS and dbFront Logs

The following folders might provide helpful logs:

• System Eventlog
• IIS Logs: c:\inetpub\logs\

Although dbFront generates its own logs, they are unlikely to help with startup failures since dbFront would not have had the chance to log anything.

• dbFront Logs: c:\logs\
