Can I rename my database without affecting my dbfront layout?

I want to rename the database I'm using in dbfront, is that going to mess up the way it is displayed and the settings I have for it in the application?

Great question. If you rename your database then dbFront will see it as a new database.

To retain your configuration you would need to:

1. Export the configuration (https://dbfront.com/exportimport),
2. Rename the database,
3. Refresh the connection via the Refresh button,
4. Import the configuration you exported in step 1.
