A manual refresh button that acts on both grid and form simultaneously

Question

(Running dbFront Version:1.0.8.2641)

I'm using views to display aggregated child values in the parent form & table.
When I update values in a child form now, I have to refresh the table of parent figures by executing a search and refresh the parent form values by changing the selected row in the grid (click another row and then return to the row to be refreshed).

A refresh button would be very convenient.

Yes, this would be very useful.

NOTE: On every table you can optionally disable caching.  This is specifically designed for lookup data that is updated outside of dbFront but will also help in other areas.

Thank you for the request. I will definitely keep this in mind.

My preference would be to solve this problem in another way and have dbFront know enough to automatically reload the appropriate elements without making the user manually refresh things.

Perhaps this should be a separate feature request, but as a complement to this one, would it be possible to have some sort of timed auto-refresh option? We run into situations where e.g. a view column from another db is updated outside of dbFront, but dbFront users don't see the change until they refresh, either manually or as a result of some of other action.

@Daniel, That would be a separate related request.  At the same time I would need some more information regarding the use-case and the expectations.  Are you primarily talking about the grid, the form or both?
